Slots at Pier Nine Brighton
Our venue is based at 9 Grand Junction Road, BN1 1PP, directly on the Brighton seafront. We sit between the Palace Pier and the West Pier, so you step out of the casino almost straight onto the promenade. For this part of the South East, it is a pretty strong spot for a land-based casino. The building started life as an Art Deco cinema and a lot of that original feel is still there. It does not look or feel like a generic high-street box, and that character comes through as soon as you get onto the gaming floor.
Electronic slots are one of the main products we run on the floor. They sit in with electronic roulette terminals, live table games and poker, so the slots are part of a broader mix rather than the only thing going on. It is worth having that in mind before you arrive, especially if you are planning to combine a few formats in one visit.
The machines you will be using are physical terminals on the floor, not online browser games. That sounds like a small detail but it changes the way a session works. You are playing on hardware in a real casino, with all the noise and movement of that space around you, and your play is linked to our opening hours instead of an online platform. We run extended hours on most days, with the floor open into the early morning, so there is usually a longer playing window here than in a lot of nearby venues.

Getting to the Slot Machines
You do not need to complete a membership registration before you come down. We do not state a membership fee requirement for general entry either. The usual process is simple: arrive at the Grand Junction Road entrance, show valid photo ID confirming that you meet the legal casino entry age in the UK, and then you will be allowed through to the gaming floor.
On a first visit, the flow typically looks like this:
- Make your way to 9 Grand Junction Road, Brighton BN1 1PP - it is on the seafront and an easy walk from the city centre and main transport stops.
- Arrive within our published opening hours. These run Mon to Thu 12pm–4am, Fri 12pm–5am, Sat 11am–5am, and Sun 11am–4am on most days.
- Present a valid government-issued photo ID at the door so the team can check your age.
- After the check is complete, head through to the main gaming floor.
- Look for the area with the electronic gaming products; the slot terminals are positioned alongside other electronic machines.
- Load your credit by inserting cash or another accepted payment method at that terminal.
- Pick the slot game you want, choose your stake from the options on screen, then start your session.
- Before you leave the machine, collect any winnings or remaining balance shown as available on the terminal.
The building is spread across several levels, and there is quite a bit of space to move through. If you are focused on getting straight to the slots and the layout is not obvious right away, just ask a member of floor staff. They can point you directly towards the terminal areas or walk you over if needed.
The Venue Itself - More Than Just Slots
The venue was refurbished and relaunched as Pier Nine, preserving the original Art Deco structure. That level of investment is not just about new décor or replacing the carpets. It shifted the venue from a fairly traditional casino into something that operates more like a broader entertainment location. The Art Deco structure was kept as the framework, and within that we now run three floors where gaming, food, drink and live entertainment sit together.
Since reopening, Grosvenor Casino Brighton Pier Nine has been one of the more visible venues on the South Coast, helped by the central seafront position. A lot of guests are already in Brighton for the evening and decide to extend their night in a place where they can have a drink, catch some sport or play a few hands, not only sit at a table.
Alongside the gaming floor itself, the venue currently includes:
- A restaurant offering a full food menu and bar service
- Screens for major live sport
- Karaoke setups
- Additional entertainment spaces
- Competitive socialising activities within the building
The slot machines sit inside that wider mix. You can use Pier Nine purely for a slot session if that is your plan, but it is just as common for guests to play on the terminals, take a break for food or live sport, then come back to the floor. A visit can easily run across a whole evening.
